Description
This was a self-portrait I had to create for my class: Graphic Design 2. The original picture was taken at Disneyland and that inspired me to use quotes from Disney's movie UP! to create this portrait.
The quotes I used were:
"Adventure is out there!"
"Thanks for the adventure. Now go find a new one."
"The wilderness must be explored! Caw! Caw! Rawr!"
And my hand is such an eyesore and looks incredibly deformed which, in reality, it is most certainly NOT! I was in such a hurry to finish this because I had to turn it in with my class portfolio for credit. This assignment was actually due like 3 weeks ago. ugh, procrastination.... It took me about 3 hours on Photoshop to finish this in one night. Yes, I said Photoshop and not Illustrator. And I can't help but chortle a bit because my graphic design teacher absolutely loathes Photoshop and she absolutely demanded that this assignment be completed in Illustrator. haha. Take that Mrs. M. ha-HA. Gosh, I'm such a rebel.
Oh yeah, and gradients are the greatest things in the world!
